If she had just buckled up, Chelsie Hill would likely still be with us today. After her tragic death in a car accident in 2010, Chelsie's family and friends started a memorial 5K run/walk to honor her love of running and children. At the same time, they're teaching the world how many lives seat belts can save.
Chelsie's family has organized the annual 5k walk/run to help raise money to teach other teenagers about seat belts. This year's event is on September 22nd, 2012 and all money goes to Primary Children's Medical Center. The run will happen at Hunter High School.
Mountain America Credit Union's Stirling Nielsen donated $500 from the Credit Union in support of the 5k walk/run.
