There are countless children worldwide that will never have the opportunity to ride a horse, ski or sled down a mountain, or even own a new pair of shoes. Pleasures so small that most people take them for granted. "Children and the Earth" tries to help fulfill some of these dreams and wishes.
From a trip to Disneyland, to gifts under the Christmas tree, or a new wheelchair to a deserving underprivileged child... "Children And the Earth", with the help of the community around them, strives to save that corner lot from another convenience store and put down a lovely park and playground, or whatever project is next to help Children to achieve their dreams. As they say, "All is possible with everyone's help and heart in the right place."
This includes an event called the "Gift of Life Rally/Brainwave 5k walk, run or roll". This is their annual fundraiser that raises money for their efforts annually to support their cause.
Mountain America Credit Union's Lynn Stephens donated $500 from the Credit Union in support of the "Children and the Earth" and Gift of Life Rally.
To turn these children's dreams into reality, it takes money and attention.
